Charlene S. Hahn, 80, of Egypt Mills made her journey home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 20, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Tommy S. and Myrtle L. Niswanger Cannon. She and Michael W. Hahn were married May 12, 1963, in Egypt Mills.
She graduated from College High School in 1960 and from Cape Girardeau School of Beauty Culture.
She worked at W.T. Grant and Sears & Roebuck. She was also an instructor at Cape Girardeau School of Beauty Culture.
She spent many years volunteering at her church and babysitting her grandchildren.
She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, where she was also in Stephen's Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Hahn of Egypt Mills; three daughters, Suzi (Stanley) Smith of Egypt Mills, Tabitha Hahn (Rick Farmer) of Egypt Mills and Heather (Tyler) Russom of Chaffee, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Zach (Amanda) Lewis, Mandi (Junior) Gean, Clarissa Smith, Abbie Reece, Corrie Reece, Paige Russom (Jerrod Steger), Brittany (Jacob) York and Jace Russom; and nine great-grandchildren, Keigan Lewis, Adelynn Lewis, Eli Gean, CeJay Adams, Corbin Adams, Axel Steger, Ava York, Abel York and Amelia York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Virginia Shirrell and Luci Hall; and a brother, James Allen.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
