ADVANCE -- Celia E. Aldrich, 97, of Advance died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at Advance Nursing Care Center.
She was born March 31, 1901, at Patton, daughter of Jim and Ellen Bollinger Long. She and Albert Aldrich were married Jan. 2, 1924, at Glen Allen. He preceded her in death.
She worked for 17 years at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance.
She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Advance.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise Lemons of Advance and Lena Gugler of Davis, Calif., and a sister, Clola Stady of Jackson.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ethel Myers will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
