CELESTINE NIEHUS

ORAN -- Funeral service for Celestine "Sally" Niehus of Bellwood, Ill., was held Tuesday at St. Simeon Church in Bellwood. Burial was in Oakridge Cemetery at Hillside, Ill., with Rosewood Funeral Home of Bellwood in charge of arrangements.

Niehus, 65, died Friday, Oct. 25, 1991, at her home.

She was born March 8, 1926, near Oran, daughter of Martin and Lena Halter.

Niehus was a member of St. Simeon Church.

Survivors include her husband, Myron James Niehus of Bellwood; six sons, James, John, Jerry, Joseph Jerome and Jay Niehus, all of Bellwood; three daughters, Janette Graham of Lombard, Ill., Joyce Edwards of Hillside, Judy Fox of Chicago; four brothers, Cleophas Halter of Perkins, Vincent Halter of Jackson, Harold Halter of Royal Oak, Mich., Charles Halter of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Norma Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Lucille McCune of Afton, Lorene Sykes of White Hall, Ill., and seven grandchildren.
