CHARLESTON -- Celeste Robert Everhart, 77, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1993, at Bertrand Retirement Home.

He was born July 19, 1916, in Champaign, Ill., son of Harvey and Zella Montjoy Everhart.

Everhart was a member of Perry Chapel AME Church.

Survivors include a son, Donald Everhart of East St. Louis, Ill.; a daughter, Winifred Cotton of Danville, Ill.; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Perry Chapel. The Rev. Joe L. Travis will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Saturday from noon to service time.

Sparks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
