CHARLESTON -- Cederic C. Rodgers, 26, of Charleston died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 1995, from an automobile accident.
He was born Nov. 6, 1968, at Charleston, son of Rozena Rodgers and Willie C. Jones.
Rodgers was a 1987 graduate of Charleston High School and had attended colleges in Texas, Missouri and Illinois.
He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include his parents, Rozena Rodgers of Charleston and Willie C. Jones of Chicago; two sons, Kenyale Evans of Charleston and Dennis Stewart of East St. Louis, Ill.; a daughter, Cederica Rodgers of Charleston; six brothers, James Jones III of Topeka, Kan., Aaron, Iran, Willie, Magic, and Julius Jones, all of Chicago; three sisters, Misty, Celisa and Tiffany Jones, both of Chicago; paternal grandmother, Elnora Jones, and maternal grandmother, Alfreda Rodgers, both of Charleston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Bowden Civic Center, with the Rev. Flem E. Bronner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
