CHARLESTON -- Cecil J. Warren, 84, Charleston Route 2, died Monday, April 1, 1996, at Bertrand Nursing Facility. He was born Feb. 27, 1912, at Alton, son of Cleve and Emma Warren. He and Bertie Baty were married Feb. 24, 1947. Warren had worked at Home Oil Co. several years, and then for the state of Missouri, retiring in 1968. CHARLESTON -- Cecil J. Warren, 84, Charleston Route 2, died Monday, April 1, 1996, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.

He was born Feb. 27, 1912, at Alton, son of Cleve and Emma Warren. He and Bertie Baty were married Feb. 24, 1947.

Warren had worked at Home Oil Co. several years, and then for the state of Missouri, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Southern Baptist Church at Diehlstadt.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Gordon Warren of Warrensburg; a daughter, Betty Gage of Bertrand; a brother, Lloyd Warren of St. Louis; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tom Bridges and Raymond Hannah officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
