He was a lineman and retired from Ameren after 30-plus years of service. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. He took pride in keeping his lawn looking its best and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the river when he was younger. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, but most of all loved his family, church and God.
