ULLIN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Cecil Mowery of Ullin will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. The Revs. William Gholson and Mark Best will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
Mowery, 93, died Sunday, April 20, 1997, at City Care Center in Anna.
She was born Jan. 30, 1904, at Mill Creek, daughter of James and Martha Vick Dillow. She married Clarence Albert Mowery, who died Aug. 17, 1950.
Mowery was retired from Choate Mental Health and Development Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, J.D. Mowery of Affton, Mo.; a daughter, Mildred Dunn of Portage, Mich.; a sister, Zoe Jones of Havana, Ill.; a brother, Konrad Dillow of Kingston, Md.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
