Cecil J. Kilbreath, 81, of Millersville died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 3, 1926, in Parma, Mo., son of Ira and Dona Brown Kilbreath. He and Naomi Hamilton were married Oct. 30, 1947, at Bernie, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Kilbreath was a mechanic seven years with Cape Girardeau Police Department. He was also a mechanic for Dean Taylor Cadillac, Olds.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Kilbreath of Millersville; a brother, Claude Kilbreath of Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Betty Aaron of Arnold, Mo., Elsie Clark of Wentzville, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
