SIKESTON, Mo. -- Cecil Crawford, 93, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. He was born June 14, 1908, in McCracken County, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crawford. He and Mary Lillian Westmoland were married in May 1935, at Sikeston. She died May 14, 1989...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Cecil Crawford, 93, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

He was born June 14, 1908, in McCracken County, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crawford. He and Mary Lillian Westmoland were married in May 1935, at Sikeston. She died May 14, 1989.

Crawford was a farmer.

Survivors include a son, Melvin Crawford of Kokomo, Ind.; six daughters, Shirley McClure of Clinton, Ark., Shelby Negri of Glenwood, Ill., Mary Goggins of St. Charles, Mo., Gladys Bolin, Joyce Staggs and Linda Post, all of Kokomo; a sister, Mamie Payne of Wickliffe, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kelly Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
