EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Cathy Marie Dennis of East Prairie Route 1 will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Dave Bowden will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dennis, 30 years old, died Sunday, March 10, 1991, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 7, 1961, in Salina, Kan., daughter of Robert E. and Janet McIlroy Greer. She was a graduate of East Prairie High School, employed at Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston, and member of First Christian Church here.

Survivors include a son, Joey Dennis of the home; her parents of East Prairie; two brothers, Terry and Steve Greer of East Prairie, and paternal grandmother, Marie Greer of East Prairie.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Greer.
