Cathryn Joy Swift, 57, of Delta passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at her home. She was born Aug. 5, 1957, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of James Lowell and Georgia Jackson Cookemboo. Cathryn worked for many years at Procter & Gamble for Manpower. She enjoyed auctions, yard sales and traveling. She loved spending time with her family...

Cathryn Joy Swift, 57, of Delta passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at her home.

She was born Aug. 5, 1957, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of James Lowell and Georgia Jackson Cookemboo.

Cathryn worked for many years at Procter & Gamble for Manpower. She enjoyed auctions, yard sales and traveling. She loved spending time with her family.

Cathryn and Keith Lemonds had a loving relationship for 17 years. He preceded her in death in March 2016.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Brown of Sikeston, Missouri, Bradly Brown of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Aaron Tarble of Scott City; a daughter, Christy McCoy of Marble Hill; two stepsons, Rodney and Robby Lemonds, both of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Becky Ivester of Chaffee, Missouri, and Katie Bouchoucha of Tampa, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the VFW Hall in Marble Hill.

Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Missouri, is in charge of arrangements.
