Catherine Sherer

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Catherine Sherer of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Robert Goins will officiate. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Sherer, 86, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Jonesboro Health Care in Jonesboro, Ill.

She was born Sept. 17, 1915, in Goreville, Ill., daughter of Theodore and Lilly Girtman.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Neely of Anna.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
