Catherine Reynolds

COBDEN, Ill. -- Catherine Irene Reynolds, 87, of Cobden died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at City Care Center in Anna, Ill.

She was born July 2, 1920, in Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of Marion and Florence Horstford Milton. She and Esta Esko Reynolds were married June 3, 1939, in Jackson. He died Feb. 22, 1984.

Reynolds had worked at Good Luck Glove and Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Albert Reynolds of Jonesboro, Ill., Evalena Flick of Cobden, Carolyn Hunziker of Murphysboro, Ill.; a sister, Glenna Goddard of Murphysboro; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers, six sisters, three half brothers and a half sister.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Burial will be in Dutch Ridge Cemetery near Alto Pass.
