ANNA, Ill. -- Mrs. Catherine Murphy, 84, died Wednesday, May 8, 1991 at her home in Anna.
She was born Oct. 18, 1906, in Anna, the daughter of J. Henry and Flora Benefield Hicks.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a retired cashier of the G.C. Murphy Co. in Anna.

She is survived by two sons, Henry Murphy of Belleville, ill., and Jack Murphy of Anna; and five grandchildren.
Service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with Charles Owen officiating. Burial will be in the Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday.
