CASSIE WILLSON

PUXICO -- Cassie Willson, 85, of Puxico died Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born July 22, 1912, at Puxico, daughter of Lewis O. and Olive Christian Kitchen. She and Carl Willson were married Sept. 21, 1930, in St. Louis. He died May 17, 1977.

Willson was a lifelong resident of Puxico, and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Wilfong of Rochester, Ill.; a brother, Nelson Kitchen of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marshall Link, the Rev. Wiley McGhee, and Lonnie Guilliams officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
