PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cassie Lee Michaud, 88, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born April 22, 1917, at Prim, Ark., daughter of Dennie G. and Senna Butler Calhoun. She and Willie S. Knapp were married in 1932 at Hanover, Ark. He preceded her in death. She then married John H. Michaud on June 10, 1960 at Fillmore, Calif. He died March 5, 2005.
Michaud worked at the International Shoe Company as well as at Prince Gardner. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, DAV Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, William Knapp of St. Mary, Mo., Dennis Knapp of O'Fallon, Mo.; three daughters, Velma Liszewski of Nashville, Ill., Mary Price of Las Vegas, Nev., Susan Updike of Culpepper, Va.; stepchildren, Betty Lou Hartman of Ballwin, Mo., Melba Thompson of St. Charles, Mo., Joann Aldridge of Kirkwood, Mo., Larry Michaud of Springfield, Ill.; a brother, Eugene Calhoun of Farmington, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. American Legion Auxiliary service is at 6:30 p.m. and the parish wake service is at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
