Caseline Morris

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Caseline Morris, 74, of Charleston died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 6, 1929, in Charleston, daughter of Gus and Lou Birda Bailey Barnes. She married Harvey Morris, who died in 1976.

Morris was a kindergarten teacher 37 years with Charleston School District. She was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Morris of Cairo, Ill., Michael Morris of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Sarah Crawford; a brother, Gus Barnes; stepmother, Alice Barnes; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Mercy Seat Baptist Church from 3 p.m. today until time of service.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
