Carroll Lee "Jake" Noland, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Gideon, Missouri, to Paul Eugene and Bessie Robinson Noland. He and Terri Hency were married March 26, 1980, in Cape Girardeau.

Jake was a fire fighter for the city of Cape Girardeau 32 years.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1970 to 1972. He was a member of VFW Post 3838.

Survivors include his wife, Terri Noland of Cape Girardeau; a son, Chad (Brooke) Noland of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Michelle Noland of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, Gary Noland of Scott City; and a sister, Linda Ellridge of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin daughters, Cari and Christi.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to VFW Post 3838 or the Cape Girardeau Fire Department.
