CARROLL MOORE

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Carroll Moore, 76, of Wolf Lake died Monday, April 3, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Sept. 16, 1923, at Kennett, son of Rube A. and Emma Easley Moore. He and Opal P. Vincent were married Jan. 12, 1946, in Jonesboro.

Moore was retired from Trojan Powder Co., and was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Moore of Wolf Lake; a brother, Billy Moore of Parker, Colo.; three sisters, Josie Lamkey and Connie Nunnlee of Salem, Ore., and Shirley Cobb of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after noon Thursday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna.
