PERKINS -- Carrie S. Turner, 89, of Perkins died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.
She was born Feb. 20, 1910, at Senath, daughter of Walter Cleveland and Clara Mae Myers Jackson. She married Roy Turner, who preceded her in death.
Turner retired as a back shoe operator at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of Perkins Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Menz of Perkins; a brother, Leroy Jackson of Perkins; three sisters, Leatrice Barks of Advance, Veda Boley and Maggie Lancaster of Chaffee; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. The Revs. Fred Ritter and Rick Crump will officiate. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery.
