BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Mrs. Carrie May Hopkins of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bob Holland will officiate, with burial in West Antioch Cemetery near here.

Mrs. Hopkins, 92 years old, died Friday, Feb. 8, 1991, at Bloomfield Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 28, 1898, at Bloomfield, daughter of Isaac Newton and Alice Yates Glenn. She married Reuben Hopkins Sept. 10, 1921. He died Dec. 22, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Howard and Robert Hopkins of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Launius; two brothers and five sisters.
