Carrie Phillips Holder, 43, of Scott City lost her long battle with her health Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, peacefully surrounded by close friends and family members in her home where she wished to be.
She was born May 22, 1971, in Chaffee, Missouri, to Bill and Jewell Keller Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Holder of Scott City; a daughter, Abbey (Zach) Holder of Scott City; a son, Mitchell (Lexie) Holder of Benton, Missouri; her parents, Barry and Jewell Hampton of Chaffee; two brothers, Jamie (Aleisha) Welch and Andy (Kelsey) Welch of Chaffee; a half-brother, Zak (Jessica) Phillips of Chaffee; a half sister, Jessica Phillips of Chaffee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herb and Norma Holder; a brother-in-law, Ron Holder of Scott City; three nieces, Jayden Welch, Isabella Phillips and Lailah Phillips; six nephews, Chase Welch, Traetyn Welch, Easton Welch, Bryce Pullen, Brennan Phillips and Cameron Phillips; and many loving friends and supportive family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Phillips; grandparents, Beatrice Keller and Imogene and Perry Phillips; and a sister-in-law, Tracy Holder.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Randy Morse and Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cox, Mitchell Holder, Mike Jones, Ron Holder, Freddie Welter and Brad Thompson.
