ZALMA -- Carolyn Shell, 48, of Zalma, died Sunday, May 10, 1992, at St. Louis University Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 27, 1943, at Puxico, daughter of Charles and Clara Peters Hopkins. On March 1, 1967, she married Frederick Shell.
Survivors include her husband; three brothers, Ray Hopkins of St. Louis, Norman Hopkins of Alton, Ill., Earl Kimbrel of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Helen Morgan of Riverside, Calif., Beulah Renfroe of Poplar Bluff, Pauline Limbaugh of Puxico, and Katherine Arunski of Umatilla, Fla.
One brother preceded her in death.
She lived in the Zalma area for 10 years, moving from Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church.
Visitation is after 3 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Gerald Huff and L.E. Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
