Carolyn Sue Hughes, 51, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 14, 1944, in Dexter, daughter of Cloyd Dean and Mildred Louise Markland Dickerson. She and Kenneth W. Hughes were married Dec. 28, 1961, in Scott City.
Hughes was a registered nurse at St. Francis Medical Center. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1988 from Sikeston.
Survivors include four sons, Keith Hughes of Chandler, Ariz., Dean Hughes of Phoenix, Ariz., Tim and Steve Hughes of St. Louis; two brothers, James and Harold Dickerson of Cahokia, Ill., and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.
