Carolyn Rainwater

ADVANCE, Mo. — Carolyn Rainwater, 57, of Advance died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 3, 1951, at New Madrid, Mo., daughter of Charles Lee and Thelma L. Colvin Stanfield. She and Gary Rainwater were married Oct. 25, 1969, at Bloomfield, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Barbara Davis of Puxico, Mo., Michelle Garner of Bell City, Mo.; three brothers, Chester Stanfield of Stockton, Mo., John Stanfield of Olympia, Wash., Raymond Stanfield of Texas; three sisters, Inell Robinson of Portageville, Mo., Voncil Calhoun of Grubbs, Ark., Judy Hogan of Mechiesville, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dustin Whittley officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
