CAROLYN J. SMITH

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Carolyn J. Smith, 55, of Perryville, died Friday, July 14, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 21, 1945, at Perry County, daugther of Emanuel and Canzada Hand LaRose. She and Curtis V. Smith were married Jan. 26, 1974. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1985.

Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Eagles. She was a Catholic.

Survivors include a brother, Donald LaRose of Perryville; and four sisters, Joyce Taylor of Lithium, Mo.; Earlene Bohnert of Perryville; Lucille Miller of St. Louis; and Bonnie Roth of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30-10 a.m. on Monday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Fork Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
