Carolyn Hill

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Carolyn S. Hill, 65, of Advance passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 2, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Wade and Cora Trousdale Brooks. She and John Hill were married Aug. 2, 1969, in Advance.

Carolyn worked at Advance schools more than 20 years. She also had worked at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance. She attended Advance First Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, John (Jaimie) Hill of Advance; a daughter, Cristal (Dwaynie) Nall of Jackson; a brother, Donald Lee Brooks of Advance; and four grandchildren, Cristine and Wesley Nall and Gabi and Josiah Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Brad Moore and Dale Wiseman officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
