PERRYVILLE -- Carolyn Grindstaff, 52, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 1, 1997, at Perry Oaks Healthcare.
She was born June 20, 1944, in Perry County, daughter of Ludwig William and Evelyn Mary Schremp Christisen. She and James Edward Grindstaff were married March 12, 1963.
Grindstaff was a machine operator at Solar Communications.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael and Jamie Grindstaff of Perryville; a daughter, Dana Ferrell of Jackson; her mother of Perryville; eight brothers, David, Merlin, Larry, Kenneth, Theodore, Roy, Allen and Ronald Christisen, all of Perryville; six sisters, Loretta Wood and Judy Hermann of St. Louis, Norma Schumer, Patricia Torbert, Terrie Favier and Donna Mahnken of Perryville; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
