DEXTER, Mo. -- Carolyn Seabaugh Eldridge, 64, of Dexter departed this life Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 6, 1950, in Marble Hill, Missouri, daughter of the late Elmer B. and Geneva V. Bess Cook. She and Brad Eldridge were married Jan. 25, 1991, in Chaffee, Missouri. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 2010.
Carolyn attended First Baptist Church of Dexter, and was a former bus driver with the Dexter School District.
She is survived by a son, Chris Seabaugh of Dexter; two sisters, Frances Rossi and Kathy Lynn Cook of Dexter; mother-in-law, Mildred Eldridge of Chaffee; and a sister-in-law, Robin Graham of Patton, Missouri.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Claude, Danny and Lyman Cook; and two sisters, Janice Cook and Dianna Brown.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Thursday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment will be in Essex Cemetery.
