CAIRO, Ill. -- Carolyn S. Curley, 43, of Cairo, formerly of Mound City, Ill., died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Daystar Care Center.
She was born March 18, 1964, in Cairo, daughter of Robert William and Mary Ann Foster Mitchell.
Curley attended Barlow Baptist Church in Barlow, Ky.
Survivors include a son, Dustin Curley of Camdenton, Mo.; a daughter, Meshah Curley of Camdenton; her mother of Mound City; three sisters, Ruby Everette of Ullin, Ill., Ruby Jones of Christopher, Ill., Judy Dover of Olmsted, Ill.; six brothers, Robert Mitchell Jr. of Ullin, Walter Mitchell of Olive Branch, Ill., John Mitchell of Carbondale, Ill., James Mitchell of Mounds, Ill., Leroy Mitchell of Olmsted and Leon Mitchell of Grand Chain, Ill.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, with the Rev. Joe Vance officiating.
