WITTENBERG -- Caroline W. Stueve, 95, of Wittenberg, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 14, 1895, in Perry County, daughter of Claus and Alwine Brauner Stueve. She married Martin Stueve Nov. 20, 1919. He died Jan. 14, 1963.
Stueve was a charter member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Altenburg, and member of its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Harry Stueve of Jackson; two daughters, Ida Rauh of Jackson, Elsie Boren of New Wells; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Stueve of Wittenberg; half brother, Reinhold Stueve of Perryville; half sister, Nora Kasten of Altenburg; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Paul Lohnes will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg after 4:30 p.m. today, and until 8 a.m. Thursday.
