WICHITA, Kan. � Caroline Ritter Reitz, 83, born in Cape Girardeau, died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Wichita.
As a teenager, she attended Interlochen Center for the Arts and studied piano and vocal music. Caroline received her bachelor of science degree in business from Vanderbilt University.
She and David Reitz celebrated 60 years of marriage last year.
Caroline loved caring for her family, participating in PEO and serving her church as a volunteer. She sang in the choir and played hand-bells many years.
She is survived by her loving family: children, Dr. Eric (Elizabeth) Reitz and Dr. Sarah (Scott) Willis; grandchildren, Cristina, Lindsey, Drew, Anna, Stephanie, J.D. and Nathan; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Ann) Ritter and Carl (Sue) Ritter; and sister, Margaret (John) Ueleke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Reitz.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway in Wichita.
Memorial gifts may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services of Missouri.
