CAROLINE M. RAINES

SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Caroline Margaret "Carleen" Raines, 78, of Sedgewickville, died Thursday, May 16, 1991, at North Scott Medical Center in Chaffee.

She was born March 15, 1913, in Honaker, Va., daughter of James Henry and Eunice Sisk Griffith. She married James Thorton Raines Aug. 17, 1937.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Steve and Mike Raines of Sedgewickville; a daughter, Cindy Tejero of St. Charles; six brothers, Edward and Jack Griffith of Centerburg, Ohio, Walter Griffith of Greenfield, Ind., Warren and Robert Griffith of Castlewood, Va., Raymond Griffith of Bluefield, W.Va.; a sister, Lucy Nash of Richlands, Va.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Patton. The Rev. Vester Keesee will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
