DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Carole Gaye Tuschhoff, 72, of Denham Springs died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Carole Gaye Tuschhoff, 72, of Denham Springs died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She was born April 7, 1945, to William B. and Dorothy Seabaugh of Jackson.

Carole was a 1963 graduate of Jackson High School. Later, she attended and graduated from Metro Business College in Cape Girardeau.

On June 12, 1965, she began a 52-year journey upon her marriage to fellow classmate Ronnie Lee Tuschhoff, also of Jackson.

In 1985, she moved with her husband and two children to Louisiana, where she remained until the time of her death. She was retired from the State of Louisiana.

She enjoyed spending time with family, including her dogs, Taco and Katie; going to antique shops; and cheering on the LSU Tigers in football.

Carole is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Tuschhoff; her daughter, Donna Jo Tuschhoff of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; her son, David Lee Tuschhoff of Port Allen, Louisiana; and her brother, Allen Seabaugh of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Dorothy Seabaugh.

The family wishes to make special mention of her natural father, Odus Litzelfelner of Jackson, who was killed before her birth in 1945, while serving his country during World War II.

A time for expressions of condolence and remembrance will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 206 E. Washington St. in Jackson.

A private scattering of ashes will be done by the immediate family at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to make a donation contribute either to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to First Presbyterian Church.

Final arrangements were by Church Funeral Services in Walker, Louisiana.
