PATTON, Mo. — Carol Ann DeSpain, 40, of Patton died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 29, 1968, at Kirkwood, Mo., daughter of the Rev. Robert Carl "Bobby" and Carolyn W. Berry Trentham.
DeSpain was a medical assistant with A.W.L. Medical Center and attended First General Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Trentham of Patton; a daughter, Jamie DeSpain of Patton; a stepson, Dustin Grover of Columbia, Mo.; a brother, Mark Trentham of Patton, a sister, Robin (Roy) White of Jackson; two nieces, Amber (Brian) Timberlake of Whitewater, Amy (Tommy) Cook of Millersville; and a great niece, Hailey Ann Cook of Millersville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes and the Rev. Mike Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill, Mo.
