PATTON, Mo. -- Carol Ann Biermann, 74, of Patton died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at her home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1937, at St. Louis, to Edward Gabris and Helen Maurer Gabris. She married Bernhardt "Ben" Biermann on May 12, 1956, at St. Louis. He survives in Patton.
Carol had worked for Wilkes Printing Co. in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church-Silver Lake. She was a member of the Ladies Elks, and was an avid bowler, bowling in Tuesday and Thursday leagues. She also enjoyed bingo at the Elks.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael (Kimberly) Biermann and Edward (Robin) Biermann of Arnold, Mo.; two daughters, Deborah (Gerry) Etter of Festus, Mo., and Patricia "PJ" (Brad) Olsen of Arnold; a brother, James Gabris of St. Louis County; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Kelly A. Nelson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Mo., with the Rev. Milton Ryan, CM officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Relay for Life.
