DEXTER -- Carnelia Lucille Ward, 75, of Dexter, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born at Bernie Nov. 15, 1921. She retired from Elders Manufacturing Co. in Dexter. She is survived by a son, Charles Ward of Poplar Bluff; daughters, Carol Young and Joan Perry, both of Dexter; a sister, Loweta Smith of Aurora, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild...

DEXTER -- Carnelia Lucille Ward, 75, of Dexter, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born at Bernie Nov. 15, 1921.

She retired from Elders Manufacturing Co. in Dexter.

She is survived by a son, Charles Ward of Poplar Bluff; daughters, Carol Young and Joan Perry, both of Dexter; a sister, Loweta Smith of Aurora, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Ward, in 1994.

Service will be at Watkins amd Sons Funeral Home in Dexter Monday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Bob Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
