MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Carmeline England, 76, of Marble Hill died Monday, April 29, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 1, 1925, at Grayridge, Mo., daughter of John Edward and Alta M. Tayler Pratt. She and Albert F. England were married in 1941. He died in June 1971.
England moved to Marble Hill 13 years ago from Bloomfield, Mo. She was an assembly worker at General Electric in Ontario, Calif., was an independent insurance agent in Bloomfield, and was a sales representative five years with Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Family Worship Center.
Survivors include a twin son and daughter, the Rev. Gary England of St. Louis and Sandra Holmes of Charleston, Ill.; another daughter, Beverly Clanin of Marble Hill; a sister, Laverne Lovett of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, James Pratt of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Revs. Gary Whitehouse and Robert Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
