ANNA, Ill. -- Carl F. Wiedlocher Jr., 82, of Anna died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born Jan. 22, 1917, at Springfield, son of Carl F. and Evelyn Solomon Wiedlocher Sr. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna and the Knights of Columbus. ANNA, Ill. -- Carl F. Wiedlocher Jr., 82, of Anna died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

He was born Jan. 22, 1917, at Springfield, son of Carl F. and Evelyn Solomon Wiedlocher Sr.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna and the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was employed by his family-owned Anna Feed & Paper Co. in Anna until it was sold in 1974. He was a carpenter and farmer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Anna; three daughters, Sharon Kopp of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., Penny Ottsen of Anna and Regina Sorensen of Groveland; four sons, Carl F. Wiedlocher III of Las Cruces, N.M., Frank L. Wiedlocher of Jefferson City, Mo., George Patrick Wiedlocher of Carbondale and David Earl Wiedlocher of Nashville, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, son, sister and brother.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with rosary to be said at 7.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Cobden, with military honors at the grave by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
