Carl E. Thiele, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at his home. He was born Aug. 26, 1937, in Cape Girardeau County to Fred and Katie Koeppel Thiele. He was a member of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills. Survivors include his cousins, Phyllis (Carl Lee) Sinn of Cape Girardeau, Don Thiele of Cape Girardeau and Kenny Hoyer of Nebraska; a stepsister, Juanita Miller of Cape Girardeau; and a stepbrother, Chester Hengst of Cape Girardeau...

He was a member of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Egypt Mills, with the Rev. Mark Rogers officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
