MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Carl "Bunk" Miller, 91, of Marble Hill died Friday, March 24, 2023, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.
He was born May 5, 1931, in Bessville, Missouri, to William Miller and Alma Liley Miller. He and Helen M. Miller were married May 8, 1954, and she survives of the home.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army.
He worked as a truck driver for Twin City Materials.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Bobby Miller of Marble Hill and Mark (Lisa) Miller of Glen Allen, Missouri; daughter, Shelly Kinkel of High Ridge, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie Lee and Mandy Stone, both of Chaffee, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Miller; mother, Alma Miller; daughter, Janice Cappel; brother, Bobby Miller; three sisters, Alta Eaker, Zola Kirkpatrick and Lola Thompson; and one brother-in-law, Sonny Lee.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral ceremony will be at noon Thursday, March 30, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill.
