CHAFFEE, Mo. — Carl Ray Hunter, 59, of Chaffee passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his home. Born in Kennett, Missouri, on June 11, 1956, he was the son of Ray Edfert and Sylvia Gertrude Bostic Hunter. He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Hunter of East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, and John Hunter of Chaffee; and two sisters, Cathy Gaines and Kathleen Schrum, both of Chaffee

CHAFFEE, Mo. — Carl Ray Hunter, 59, of Chaffee passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his home.

Born in Kennett, Missouri, on June 11, 1956, he was the son of Ray Edfert and Sylvia Gertrude Bostic Hunter.

He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Hunter of East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, and John Hunter of Chaffee; and two sisters, Cathy Gaines and Kathleen Schrum, both of Chaffee.

His parents; a sister, Donna Cox; and two brothers, Terry Hunter and Ricky Hunter, predeceased him.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chaffee Church of God, Highway 77 in Chaffee.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
