Carl Crawford

ULLIN, Ill. -- Carl A. David Crawford, 76, of Ullin died Monday, July 19, 2004, on arrival at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Union County, son of William Luther and Katie Viola Hunsaker Crawford.

Crawford was a retired plumbing contractor. He attended Ullin Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include five sons, Jim Stout of Buncombe, Ill., Terry Hill of Verona, Wis., Larry Stout of Jonesboro, Ill., Rob Crawford of Middletown, Md., Carl Crawford of Marshall, Ill.; four daughters, Jan Fryman of Earleville, Md., Dale Leonard of Dacula, Ga., Cissie Fosse of Marion, Ill., Karla Applegate of Anna; a sister, Marcella Johnson of Jonesboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother and sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Anthony Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery near Goreville, Ill.
