CAMPBELL IS FESTIVAL SPEAKER

JACKSON -- The Rev. Phillip A. Campbell will be Fall Mission Festival speaker this weekend at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 223 West Adams in Jackson.

His theme is "Tell It Boldly That Jesus Is the Same Yesterday, Today, and Forever." Services are at 6 p.m. Saturday; 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Campbell, a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod more than 20 years, recently joined the staff of the church's Commission on Black Ministry. He is director of mission networking. Prior to this position, he had been pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Detroit, Mich., since 1985.

He and his wife, Rosalee, have three sons.
