JACKSON -- Camille F. Chappius, 29, of Qunicy, Ill., formerly of Jackson, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993, as a result of a train collision in Aurora, Ill.
He was born July 13, 1963, at Chester, Ill., son of Clyde and Josette Fieschi Chappius.
He is survived by his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Chappius was a freight conductor with Southern Pacific Railroad. While living in Jackson he was operations manager with St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern Railway Company, and was a brakeman and conductor with Jackson & Southern Railroad. He had also worked as a train dispatcher for a short line railroad in eastern Oklahoma.
Chappius was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Chester.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Welge- Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Dennis Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
