PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Calvin E. Ratcliff, 75, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at his home.
He was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Perryville, son of Louis and Lucille Picou Ratcliff.
Survivors include three sons, Calvin E. (Karen) Ratcliff of Cape Girardeau, Keith (Judy) Ratcliff of Washington, Mo., Chris (Carla) Ratcliff of St. Louis; his mother of Perryville; a sister, Helen Ponder; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
Ratcliff was a controller with Union Pacific Railroad and also farmed. He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church at Biehle, Mo., Knights of Columbus, American Legion and VFW.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The parish wake will be at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Maurus Church, with the Rev. Tony Dattilo officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Cemetery, with military rites by Delta Team.
Memorial preference to Shriners Hospital in lieu of flowers.
