PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Calvin P. Hoehn, 61, of Perryville died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1947, in Perry County, son of Walter and Erna Hopfer Hoehn. He and Joan Buch¿heit were married April 12, 1969.
Hoehn was a lifetime dairy and agriculture farmer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown, Mo., where he was also in the voters assembly, the LLL Dart Ball Team, Church Council and the American Legion Post 133.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daniel Hoehn and Keith Hoehn of Perryville; a daughter, Amy Roth of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Leroy Hoehn of Perryville; a sister, Dorothy Schuessler of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Monday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. He will then be taken to Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown for a service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Point Rest Cemetery in Menfro, Mo., with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Military graveside service will be provided by American Legion Post 133.
