CALVIN E. PFEIFFER

JACKSON -- Calvin E. Pfeiffer, 53, of Columbia, formerly of Jackson, died Friday, March 13, 1992 at Boone Hospital Center.

He was born July 5, 1938 in Jackson, son of the late Edna Meisner Pfeiffer, and Erwin Pfeiffer, who survives of Jackson.

On Feb. 23, 1963, he married Donna Gramm in Columbia. She survives of Columbia.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He received a bachelors degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1961.

He worked for Olin Chemical Company for 16 years. He then worked in the real estate business for 13 years, as a broker and agent for ERA Plaza Real Estate.

He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League and past president of Little Dixie Kiwanas.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Pfeiffer, St. Louis; one son, Mark Pfeiffer, Springfield; and two brothers, Cletus Pfeiffer, Fairbault, Minn. and Robert Pfeiffer, Jackson.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia with the Rev. Kenneth Gerike and the Rev. Carl Rockrohr. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.
