NEW MADRID -- Funeral service for Calvin C. Eby of New Madrid was held Monday at Richards Funeral Chapel here. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Eby, 70, died Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, in St. Louis. NEW MADRID -- Funeral service for Calvin C. Eby of New Madrid was held Monday at Richards Funeral Chapel here. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Eby, 70, died Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Farrenberg, son of Enoch Elmer and Viola Ann McFadden Eby. He and Martha Ann Bone were married Dec. 1, 1969, in New Madrid.

Eby was a farmer, and member of Farrenberg Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, James Eby of Whitewater, and a sister, Helen Fields of Decatur, Ill.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
